Nonprofit Advisory Council
The Center for Nonprofit Business Nonprofit Advisory Council is an interdisciplinary advisory council comprised of community leaders across Washoe County. The purpose of this council is to aid The Center in understanding and navigating trends and best practices in the ever evolving and fast paced nonprofit sector. As The Center grows and expands we will develop an Advisory Council that represents the state of Nevada.

The Doers
The Center for Nonprofit Business is comprised of Jeff and Christi, who are recognized nonprofit leaders in northern Nevada with over five decades of collective experience.
Jeff Bryant
Jeff Bryant has successfully navigated Washington, D.C. bureaucracy to invest in nonprofit efforts focused on conservation and habitat restoration, agricultural education and research, and national service initiatives. During this time, Jeff has founded and built multiple successful nonprofits, developed and executed dynamic strategies with high-impact results, and led high-stakes negotiations resulting in historic conservation victories.
Christi Cakiroglu
Passionate about addressing systemic needs, Christi Cakiroglu collaborates with others to find solutions. As an Executive Director for nineteen years, Christi has held various other positions for local nonprofits and is a Board Source Certified Nonprofit Board Consultant. Her capacity-building expertise ensures that every nonprofit she works with has the tools to support a fully functioning and robust infrastructure.
